Building careers in construction

Building the future together

Marin Builders Association is committed to creating life-changing opportunities for young people in Marin. We are the central convener of multiple construction-related programs operating across Marin County.

For every five construction professionals retiring from the industry, just one new worker is entering the workforce to replace them.

The construction industry faces a worker shortage that is not going away soon. It will worsen without critical workforce development programs, which are helping to grow our own pipeline of new young workers.

The construction industry has identified an overwhelming need for a skilled and motivated workforce throughout the North Bay.

We collaborate with our partners to help students gain invaluable experience in the construction industry. These programs provide a collaborative, local approach to construction workforce training, including recruitment, training, and placement. Our goal is to graduate dozens of successful students directly into the workforce each year.

Students can earn upwards of $100,000 per year after just a few years in the industry so the can build their own construction careers.
