Marin Builders Association Workforce Training & Resources
"I wanted to express my appreciation for giving me the opportunity to attend the North Bay Construction Corps - Marin Class that was held from March through June.
I was able to learn so much about the construction industry and the various trades and careers that are out there. The classes were so valuable in introducing us to the multiple aspects and elements of safety, tool use, and building skills. An introduction I otherwise would not have had.

“North Bay Construction Corps helped me get the training and make the connections I needed for the career I have today in electrical.”
"In 2018, I served as a guest instructor for NBCC's program, which provides valuable education and experience in various trade organizations. During my time as a teacher, I met a standout student who aspired to be an electrician. We discussed a job opportunity at Towery Electric, and today Niko is an exceptional employee who attends electrical trade school to further his knowledge. I am grateful to have been invited back as a guest instructor each year and believe the NBCC program is outstanding."

"I feel it is important to understand the basic expectations potential employers in the construction industry are looking for. Our Education to Career (E2C) construction skills program provides our students with the basic skills and confidence to enable them to join the workforce as productive team members. We know this is true as our statistics show that students can gain employment and those already employed in the industry achieve job advancement upon completing this program."
"The North Bay Construction Corps provides a vital pipeline for interested candidates to pursue careers in the trades, as well as allowing companies to have access to qualified, interested employees. As a graduate of an MBA Workforce Development program. I especially appreciate this opportunity for each of the students and hope to see this program grow and help our industry thrive and succeed!"
"At the ROP Construction class, we are building skills in construction. High school students and adults are learning tool safety and job site safety. They are learning residential framing techniques, while building custom garden/storage sheds from the ground up. Students learn the importance of reading a tape measure, a new vocabulary, and life-long skills.."
“In my three plus decades as part of the Marin Builders Association, it has been so rewarding to see this program flourish, meet the students, and share their personal challenges. Witnessing their achievements and successes has been truly inspiring. We are so proud our program has provided nearly $1 million in scholarship awards to such incredible young people to assist them in continuing their education and to support their dreams.”
"This program places high school seniors directly into the construction industry with local Marin Builders Association firms. Each cohort concludes with a 2-week, on-site construction bootcamp followed by a hiring fair and possible job placement.
Training the future leaders in our industry has never been more important. Mario Ghilotti’s vision was to encourage and assist the next generation to get into construction and the trades. We are so pleased with our partnership with Marin Builders Association, helping to bring the North Bay Construction Corps to students in Marin."
We so appreciate your partnership and support of this incredible construction education program and the learning opportunity it provides for students and adults in our community."
